Variable text and graphic fields are tagged directly within Adobe Indesign or after saving your templates as PDF files using Adobe Acrobat. All template attributes such as fonts, size, positioning, are automatically maintained when importing templates into the PrintNow system.

Templates made with Adobe Indesign can easily be exported for customization in the PrintNow system using the “tag” pallet. All text and image elements are mapped to label tags and when importing into PrintNow system as a PDF all the default text, size, positioning as well and image placeholders are maintained and become variable you can define rules on.

Templates made using any PDF
As a alternative to using the Adobe Indesign to make templates any graphic editor that can used that can generate a PDF using distiller settings we provide to you. Adobe Illustrator, Quark Express, Freehand and Corel Draw are all examples of commonly used graphic applications that can generate PDF files using standard distiller settings. The tagging process using any of these programs can be applied directly to the PDF file using Adobe Acrobat using the “Tag” Palette.
